L.Y.A live from California wishes a happy Easter holiday and Spring Break to all the Live Young Abroad fella readers 🙂 I believe the Easter week end is as a moment to be spent with your family, spend some quality time with your loved ones, which we did today 🙂 .
My grand parents, little brother, sister and I arrived in Los Angeles yesterday and woke up quite early due to jet lag. It is the 1st time we spend a week of holiday just the 5 of us, no parents allowed. After checking in the Peninsula, Beverly Hills, we wanted to explore the hotel and started wandering around. Of course, the hotel put on his Easter costume and the lobby was filled with big chocolate easter eggs, that my little sister didn’t miss 😉
The WAOUW effect started at the airport with the arrival of a big limousine ^^ and I believe we’ll be waouwed until we sit in the plane back to cold Switzerland. The Peninsula has a reputation to always meet the guests’ expectations, but more over, go the extra mile. The check in took place in the room and went smoothly. My little sister was pretty happy to find a big plate full of sweets with her name on it, waiting for her to empty it 🙂
As for me, my hospitality business eye was more interested by a nice welcome note by the Managing Director left on the desk. You may think these are stupid, time consuming details, but the way I see it, these detail make the difference, and WHAT a difference!
Hope you all had as much fun as we did today and enjoyed your Easter week end! Let us know how you spent it in the comments section and don’t hesitate to share some “must see must do” addresses in LA as it i LYA’s first time on the West Coast! Any suggestions are more than welcome!!!
